WHY A CHRISTIAN EDUCATION?
"We cannot continue to send our children to Caesar for their education and be surprised when they come home as Romans." Voddie Baucham
Parents and Friends,
Choosing where your child will be educated is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. At First Baptist Academy, we believe that education must be anchored in the unchanging truth of God’s Word. Scripture declares, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10). Without that foundation, knowledge is incomplete. Our mission is not just to teach subjects, but to shape hearts and minds in accordance with biblical truth.
In a world that is constantly shifting in values and direction, your child needs more than academics; they need truth, stability, and godly guidance. At First Baptist Academy, every subject is taught through a biblical lens, and every classroom is led by faculty who desire to model Christ. We are committed to helping students grow spiritually, academically, and socially so they are prepared not just for college, but for life. As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
We also believe that a strong education should be balanced. Along with rigorous academics, students are given opportunities to participate in athletics, fine arts, and other activities that help develop discipline, teamwork, and character. Each of these areas is intentionally designed to reinforce biblical principles and encourage Christlike growth.
Most importantly, we desire to partner with you as parents in laying an eternal foundation. Jesus taught in Matthew 7:24–25 that the wise man builds his house upon a rock. At First Baptist Academy, we are committed to helping your child build their life upon that solid foundation, Jesus Christ. The investment you make today in a Christian education will have a lasting impact for eternity.
We invite you to come and see firsthand what God is doing at First Baptist Academy. It would be our privilege to partner with your family in training the next generation to know, love, and serve the Lord.
