Student Council
At First Baptist Academy, the Student Council provides an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills while serving their school and honoring the Lord. This student-led organization encourages responsibility, initiative, and a heart for others as students work together to promote unity and a positive school environment.
Student Council members are selected to serve in key roles, including President, Secretary, and Chaplain. Each position carries important responsibilities. The President helps lead meetings and guide initiatives, the Secretary assists with organization and communication, and the Chaplain provides spiritual leadership, encouraging fellow students through Scripture, prayer, and Christlike example.
Through Student Council, students learn the importance of servant leadership. As Mark 10:45 reminds us, “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister…” Students are challenged to lead with humility, integrity, and a desire to serve others.
The goal of Student Council is not simply leadership development, but spiritual growth. We desire to see students who are willing to stand for what is right, influence their peers for Christ, and take an active role in strengthening the school community.
